Star Trek d Movie

Despite having an antibiotic full blown day, meaning.....i wasn't being able to control my emotions, sterned face, feeling moody and worst of all, nobody understands that. So here's a tip for future reference --It would be best to just stick your sick face @ home the next time round when you are sick. There's no point going out, you know why? Because the society won't give you any courtesy @ all. Believe it or not?

Well....having said that....i was then glad i did something meaningful today....making the perfect choice of movie to watch.....which is ?

STAR TREK 2009!!

Many people did a review on this movie, and non that i've read has got any bad reviews about it. So i was pretty much sure that this will be a good or otherwise great movie to watch!! And i'm glad my instincts were correct!!

I mean i wasn't even a fan of Star Trek to begin with. And seriously, i haven't a clue what Star Trek is about. But after watching the movie, i now have a very clear idea what it's about. I used to have this impression where the characters in Star Trek are all half alien half human type, the movie however still shows the half alien half human character, but it wasn't that eerie this time round. And i kinda felt the characters in this movie!! Haha

The other good thing about this movie is however the characters. The age has been clearly minimised. In a way, i think it's more appealing to the audience, well @ least to me. Each of the characters has got their own vibe, which allows audience to remember them easily. And my favourite character? Goes to ---- KIRK! (Chris Pine) Simply because his image appears to be more humane, hip and of course cute!!

The one in the middle is Kirk, the very 1st guy on the right is Spock(Zachary Quinto). Apparently he stares as the bad guy (Sylar) in Heroes who hunts people with superpowers and make the powers his own. ( No wonder he looks kinda familiar)

Kirk is cute right? From this image he kinda looks like Brad Pitt to me!!

Ok, so besides the main characters, there is however another character which caught my attention. Him --

Nero the bad guy in Star Trek movie, but who exactly is he in real life?

I couldn't recognised him when he 1st appeared in the movie, and after a few closed up shot on him....he is no one other than the Australian actor Eric Bana! Where did i find the resemblance? From his mouth of course. He got this distinct pouch on his mouth, which is like his trademark and it's so hard to just get pass that. And the other reason being i still got this vivid memory of him starring in one of the Australian comedy show -- The full frontal. Man, he was hilarious! I still couldn't forget how he looks like when he was on the show, just like these images--

He was hilarious right? and if you compare these images with the one in Star Trek.....doesn't really match up don't they?? But the mouth does!!!!

Too Fast Too Furious

Hey you all!! It's almost midnight now, how's the night been so far??
Well, as usual, gotta update my latest movie review......YES.....FAST & FURIOUS 4 !! & in my opinion, it was SUPERB!!! Seriously, i haven't watched a movie that's so good for a long long time!!!

So what's so good about the movie?

1) It was directed by a Taiwanese, Justin Lin
2) Vin Diesel is back in the game, still as fierce & cool as ever!!
3) I like it where Paul Walker, the police guy is not so police in the movie
4) The tunnel from the US border to Mexico is actually really cool
5)Last but not least, the car & the racing!!! It was superb to the MAX!!

What are you guys waiting for?? Get your ass in the cinema now!

The Shinjuku Incident

Ok, here comes another entry for movie review. So, Shinjuku Incident....was it good? Ok, i missed the 1st part of the movie for like 1o minutes. For some reason the cinema was so packed tonite that finding a carpark was just so fucking difficult. Anyway, so when i reached the cinema, Jackie Chan just reached Japan from Mainland China. Hey....it rhymes!!

I was a bit confused by the whole point of the movie @ 1st. But then after the movie, i sorta link everything together with the name of the movie, afterall it's just an Incident in Shinjuku in the 90s.

Basically there is an incident like this happening in the 90s, where illegal immigrant starting to invade Japan, and they weren't very welcomed by the Japanese. When i 1st went to Japan for holiday, the tour guide sorta point out that, the security level in Japan had rised since the illegal immigrants invaded Japan and urged us to take care of ourselves and our belongings. Mmmm....a fairly weird statement considering i was in Japan and not other countries!!

Alrity O.....well, if you are fairly interested to know how people from mainland China survived when they 1st invaded Japan, this will be a good movie to watch.

The movie Knowing

do you know? does he know? she knows? your neighbour knows? your uncle auntie workmates friends....etc etc do they all know!!!! Everybody has to know!!!!

Ok, i know it's getting a bit too annoying, but then again.....what's wrong with hollywood movies these days? Uhh? So, The day the earth stood still basically is a great movie then, seems like all the movies are so eager to copy the idea, and do some implementation on it and done! Another great movie again! They thought.

Yes, we all know that the end of the world is coming, and global warming basically, to their interpretation is the end of the world. And we all know that. How many times do they need to tell us through their movies? We are not idiots you know? 1st, we have aliens coming to warn us about end of the world, and now we have a few more aliens in different forms coming to tell us again the end of the world is coming!! So let me guess here....mmmm.....the next movie we shall have say..... animals coming to warn us? With wings and stuff like that. Ok in my opinion, stories like these, it doesn't convey any message @ all!! Does anybody here knows exactly how the end of the world is like? By guessing and guessing, AND guessing.....it will still lead you to nowhere!. So what i'm suggesting here is, stories like these just have to stop!

Ok, if the point is not clear enough, let me elaborate.
I have to spend a certain amount of money buying tickets to watch a movie which i hope that it would be a great movie, and that i will feel the money spent will be all worth. Basically i was quiet happy with 90% of the movie except the ending!!!! Urrrghhh!!! Why? Why do you have to ruin a great movie with such a bad ending?? I just don't get it! So there goes my RM10 .....out the window. Just like that. Can u feel how furious i am now?

So, in conclusion to that i think i might have a great idea. Hollywood can have a sequel to this movie which should be named Knowing Deja vue. How about that??!

相信每个人都希望自己是幸福的. 但试问, 这世上, 又有几个人拥有真正的幸福呢?
不久前,戏院上映了一部"半"本地制做的电影--幸福万岁,梁志强作品. 满心期待的要观赏这部自认为应该会很不错的电影. 怎料? 两个小时在戏院里, 局然变成了折腾! 我觉得这部影片有点" Trying too hard"　没错，　是有笑料．．但给我的感觉就好似是故易的．．一点都不自然．除此之外，我非常搞不清楚，为什找了一个非专业演员并把那么重的戏分加在他身上？　我觉得这部戏把每一个人都当成了主角．　当一部戏没了那＂层次感＂，就只会是一部乏味的电影．
