KK Trip--Part 5

And so the night befalls and separated the day and night. We put behind our tiring day and woke up to a day that is gonna be full of sand & salt!!

Just like yesterday, our tour guide came to pick us up @ our hotel, and he drove us to our new hotel-- Sutera Harbour!! After we checked in, he drove us to somewhere behind Shangri-la resort for island experience!! I'm actually kinda excited!

And then i don't know why we need to be so discreet as to walk along some back lane of a building.....and i was thinking to myself...where exactly are we going?

And then i saw this,

It was bloody beautiful can?

The setting of the chair actually can be good for filming some scenes for the young idol series these days you know what i mean? This place can be like a couple's secret meeting place or something....it's so memorable and definitely romantic! ( @ nite i mean....as it was bloody hot when the Sun is out!)

We arrived @ about 9:30am, and we were told the boat will only depart @ 10:00am, so we just wait and wandered around. As the weather is bloody hot, we went into the shop above for some ice cream!!! And went around taking some "we think we are so cute" pictures of ourselves....

The red arrow is pointing @ the hotel we are staying for the night
@ 1st we were so excited to see this!!! Crystal clear water! Without knowing there's gonna be something even more unbelievably beautiful ahead of us!!

And so, our tour guide lead us to this small hut to get our LIFE JACKET....yes...very important
and then we go round behind the hut to board our boat. See where the red arrow is?

I took this picture when the boat was just about to take off, it's beautiful right?

The speed boat that we took is really a Speed Boat....it kept jumping up and down on the sea and both of us couldn't keep our eyes open! let alone holding a camera for a snap or two! and the worst part is my face started to feel as sticky as glue while we were cruising half way! Eeeewwww....

As our boat reached the 1st island, the Manukan, we were greeted by this!!!!!!!!!

LOOK!!!!

Who needs a bloody aquarium when you can have this!!!!!

They literally swim to you ok!!!

I was so excited i quickly take off my shoe and walk right in!

I need to have a picture on the left as well as on the right! Because i just couldn't have enough of it!!!!

And how beautiful is this?

I'll let you guys enjoy the nature's gift for a while before i post the rest of the photos!!!

ENJOY GUYS!

KK Trip-Part 4

And so after the unbelievable climbing experience, and the wonderful Canopy walk, we finally get to enjoy the hot spring!!

This is the public hot spring area, meaning it's free of charge and everybody can jump in!

They also have private chalet type hot spring room! This one is called Raflesia, it includes a small living room, a shower room and a hot tub all for RM20 per hour!! Cheap o not?!!

4 taps, 2 hot and 2 cold

And if you think you are not interested in any of them....you can always have a good time under the Sun!

Oops he saw me taking his picture!!!
But.....did you see what i see??

For example this?
Different colour socks also can ah?

This one even better, no socks and still can do something like a yoga pose!!

After the hot spring, we bit Mt.Kinabalu goodbye....another 2 hours down the winding road!! goodness grace! I almost vomited along the way!
Beautiful Mt.Kinabalu

After almost 21/2 hours coming down from the mountain ( + the traffic)....we finally got back to our hotel! Feeling hungry and tired.....but...since 1 Borneo shopping mall is just next to us....we shall not waste anymore time. We took a quick shower, and dashes to the shopping mall!!!

But 1st, we need to fill our stomach...so we wandered around until we found this restaurant which looks quiet promising.......

Jaws seafood restaurant!! The funny thing is....the captain of the restaurant looks so familiar!! And then i realised....he used to work in Lok Thian Kuching!!! Can you believe it?

Me looking kinda tired.......indeed i'm super duperly tired!

So here comes our 1st dish, Sweet corn+ crab meat soup, and Fish maw soup....taste?Facking delicious ok!

The Fish maw soup!
Crap meat ball !!! Taste?? Facking delicious as well!
I'm not exaggerating, up till the 2nd dish, the food just taste so delicious!
Next up, we have black pompfret( i don't know how to spell the second word) anyway, it's a kinda fish....ok? It was fresh by the way...when we say we wanted to eat the fish, then they go catch the fish in the aquarium and cook it!! I know it's kinda cruel....anyway, so this is how it looks like!

mmm...for this dish, maybe because the fish is fresh? The meat is a little too soft for me....and i don't really like soft things....i like it HARD baby! hahaha

See the colourful red and white thing on top? It was really creative for them to mix the radish which you would normally get it during Chinese New Year dish, for example, the " Lou Yu Shang".. The combination however was really good!!

Next......the best dish of the night goes to........Prawn in Salted egg!!!!

It was so delicious that i even ate the prawn legs and sucked the head!!! I never tried prawn in salted egg this delicious before! Man..it was awesome!!!

And then...the bill came.....it was RM144.50.....now you understand why they make you suck the prawn heads and eat the legs now don't you?

After the delicious yet sucking blood dinner, we went wandered around the shopping mall....seriously when a girl does her shopping....she could forget almost about anything!!!! And so i didn't take a single picture of the mall!! Sorry!!!

KK Trip--Part 3

This entry is going to be very promising to the eye.....you will know what i mean as you read along.
And so after lunch, we thought we were going to the hot spring and have some fun!!! But never did i know that, a very challenging task is awaiting us!
As we arrived @ the hot spring park, we were so anticipated about getting change and jump into the hot spring pool, only to learn that we had to do the canopy walk 1st before we get a taste of the hot spring.
I mean it's fine @ 1st, since we thought it's just a CANOPY WALK. So we were enjoying the scenery along the way........like the crystal clear stream....

Spotted many beautiful bamboo trees along the way!!! I really love the way bamboo is grown, clean, straight and tough!
More photos of one of my favorite plant -- Bamboo!!!

Still enjoying ourselves as we walk towards the path to the Canopy walk!
And then....the tour guide said " ok, here goes our path up to the canopy walk, it's 500m away" Ok, seriously i have no idea how far is 500m, and i just followed him closely.....until something just aint right. We kept climbing the stairs, and slowly the stairs became steeper, wider...and i thought " What is this man?" And because i was too pissed, i forgot to take pictures of the pathway up!!!
Anyway, i managed to take this photo half way up!

It must have been 98565238 hours before i finally see the light @ the end of the tunnel!

The Canopy walk!! Still so far away from me!!!! Darn!

But, i was glad that i took the 5896588679 hours walk, why?? So that i could get to take the picture of this beautiful x 889976689 times tree!!!!! Look @ it!!!
How can you not clap hands and mesmerized on God's creation?

And finally, i reached the top....still couldn't resist the beautiful bamboos!!!!

And then up some more steps......we are finally ready for the walk!!!
No, it's not funny ....the bridge is NOT STABLE @ ALL! It kept swaying back and forth the moment i step on it!!!!

It ain't no joke!

But somehow i have a tiger's heart to walk the whole walk! Hahaha....i thk there were 4 canopies altogether, each with a connecting point, like this

and i took some breathtaking photos along the way!

Now, when i said it's promising to the eye, just think.....what other colours did you see besides green? This entry is good for the eye!! Lotsa green!!! Good for the short-sighted!

KK trip-- Part 2

The Botanical Garden

And so after we've had enough of Mt.Kinabalu, we proceeded to the Botanical Garden. For us to go botanical garden @ this time of the year is a bit rugi (pity) because it's not the flower season yet!!! duh..So nothing to see lor.....but i'm glad we walked the walk in the botanical garden, because the air is so fresh!! I think i haven't inhaled such fresh air for a long long time now!!

Below are some of the flower photos, these were the only flowers that were booming @ the time when we were there!!

Birds like to eat these...when it's riped it turned into black
This plant belongs to the Orchid family! I think it looks so much like paper pin!!
Peanuts!!
This plant also belongs to the Orchid family!
The name for this tree is --Naked Tree...the skin automatically peels off, and the skin is actually very good to Shooo mosquitoes away! Just get the skin and burn them!
The water from the mountain, super clean, super clear and super Cold!

Proof that i was there...hahaha
After the botanical garden, we went for lunch, nothing special about the restaurant, but the view is!!!
Colourful bush
Again, my proof

Then we were being served lunch...i have no comment on the dishes...i mean we are not supposed to right? I mean considering there are millions of people without food out there...so we must treasure food! No matter what shape, sizes or taste they come in!

White rice, as you haven't already know...
Carrot soup, surprised anybody?
Sweet and sour fish! So " SPECIAL" !
I'm really sorry about this photo ladies and gentlement, as you may know, we were too hungry, forgot to take pic!! so only left overs lah....hahaha.....this was roasted chicken....

And this also!! Very clearly it was a vege dish!!

Blurrrppp.......full now....so what's next??
