Best steamboat in town?

How many of you agree with me that, when having steamboat, it's best to be in an open environment? And the lousier the place, the more tasty the food?
Here is a perfect example;

How You Cafe @ BDC. This cafe operates as a Foochow cafe during daytime and transformed into a steamboat place @ nite.

There's really nothing fancy about this place, a very typical local kopitiam layout.

The 1st time i went to this kopitiam, Kopi=Coffee, Tiam=Shop ( In Hokkien), I was amazed by their custom made steamboat table;

??? Are they just going to leave it for the fire to burn until one day the whole table is gone?? What a stone aged way of having steamboat! hehehe

Here comes the highlight! Ying Yang soup combo. Ying Yang means hot and cold combine. In this case, we have the hot soup on the left and mild soup on the right! Depends on what flavour you prefer!

Then we were given a piece of menu with all the dishes available printed on it, and all you need to do is choose what you want and tick!
Fresh Prawns!

Raw Chicken Meat!

Fish balls, egg, abalone mushroom and meat balls!
Their own special sauce, not to my liking
I still prefer this combination,

Chilli Padi mixed together with fresh chopped garlic and pour in some light soy-sauce!!

Plastic bowls and spoon
And one thing i like about this place is the amount of different sauces provided!!!

So go try it out guys!!! Maybe not everyone thinks it's the best steamboat in town, but i guess price wise? It might be!!!! Muaaaahhhhahaha

Hv a great nite guys!!!

XOXO
